Hours: Temporary Full Time & Casual, Monday-Friday 9am-3:30pm
Wage: $25.95 (to start)
Location: Tri-Cities (Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam)

Job Description:
The Community Support Worker supports adults with developmental abilities in our Community Inclusion program. The successful candidate will be supporting people with various activities including, but not limited to:
- Supporting individuals to find and retain paid employment
- Teaching life skills aligned with personal and employment goals
- Supporting individuals to run their own social enterprises
- Supporting and encouraging independence and self-determination
- Recreational and leisure activities such as swimming, hiking and many more
- Facilitating community inclusion and relationship building
- Teaching and facilitating effective communication
What you bring to the job:
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities
- A class 5 driver’s license (willing to obtain a class 4 license) and your own reliable vehicle
- Current First Aid training (or willingness to obtain)
- A clean driving and criminal record
- Must be willing to learn about and implement Trauma-Informed Support plans, Positive Behaviour Supports, and MANDT
- The ability to connect and communicate with the individuals we serve in a respectful way and be supportive of the needs of the individuals
- A positive attitude
