At Community Ventures Society (CVS), we believe that all of us have unique, diverse abilities to contribute to the world around us. We feel strongly that by promoting strengths, bridging differences and creating community we can all build a world where we learn from one another and thrive.
CVS works with people with developmental disabilities alongside their families to set and achieve goals that will increase opportunities for growth, development and greater independence. We do this through our commitment to delivering exceptional support to the people we support, their families, and our wider community through our wide range of programs and activities.
We have supported people in the Tri-Cities and Lower Mainland for over 40 years, providing services such as community inclusion program, Children’s Services (respite & foster care), Shared Living & Adult Respite and the Homes Program. As a CVS team, we all work together to spread the message of inclusion throughout our communities by educating, advocating and strengthening bonds with a wide range of community partners.
Who said we want to conform to the norm? Celebrate and embrace our differences.
