CVS starts serving 10 families for family-to-family respite care.

Individuals move from Woodlands
Individuals move into the CVS community from Woodlands, we open our doors to support these individuals and their families.

CVS is Growing
We are now supporting 40 individuals in our day program and 76 families in our respite program. Government budgets are reduced but CVS still delivers high standards of service. "Individualized funding" - a new philosophy of service delivery makes its debut.

CVS received our first CARF Accreditation.

CVS celebrates 30 years of service in Tri-Cities
CVS celebrates 30 years of service in the Tri-Cities with a party with those across our community. CVS is awarded a 3-year accreditation for all CVS programs once again.

The Covid-19 pandemic creates a need for us to move our support to individuals and families online. CVS launches online programming in tandem with our face-to-face support to satisfy the needs of the individuals we serve.

CVS Partners With the Port Moody Station Museum
CVS partners with the Port Moody Station Museum, BC Self Advocacy Foundation & Inclusion BC to launch an Inclusion Exhibit entitled, "Inclusion, The journey to Community". CVS is once again awarded our CARF accreditation.
